Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. To play along, post a few teaser sentences from your current read(s). WHEE!
The Lost Code (The Atlanteans #1) by Kevin Emerson
The worries of our conversation melted away. As we bounced higher, I stopped thinking about whether we were test subjects, whether this place really was some kind of giant, deadly lab. Those questions could wait. For tonight, I just wanted to ignore them, and instead focus on air, and height, and who was beside me.

A little late to the game with this one (this book came out in May). I read some mixed reviews, but overall bloggers seemed to enjoy this book. I’m a huge sucker for stories about Atlantis and couldn’t wait to jump in.
Summer of the Mariposas by Guadalupe Garcia McCall
We splashed around in that cold, clear water like river nymphs, born to swim and bathe till the end of days. It was a magical time, full of dreaminess and charm, a time to watch the mariposas emerge out of their cocoons, gather their courage, and take flight while we floated faceup in the water. And that’s exactly what we were doing the morning the body of a dead man drifted into our swimming haven.

A Mexican retelling of The Odyssey? YES PLEASE. I only just started this book, but already I can tell it’s going to be fantastic!
:) What are you reading this week? Give me a link to your teasers!
The last one looks good.
